Mary J. Blige’s Husband wants Money in Divorce

Mary doesn’t need No More Drama!

Blige’s estranged manager/husband Kendu Isaacs is seeking monies in their divorce.  In Isaacs’ response to Mary’s divorce petition he’s asking for spousal support, and for her to be financially responsible for his lawyer fees. The singer cited a “TBD” termination date for their 12 year marriage, and Isaacs listed July 25th. In Mary’s documents she stated that she wants spousal support blocked. No word if the couple have a prenup and the details of it, but the two reside in California which is a community property state.

Mary and Kendu married in December of 2003 in a private ceremony. Blige has praised Kendu for being helpful with her dealing with her past demons.

In conclusion, Mary is currently preparing for her world tour with singer Maxwell this fall.
