R&B Singer Tweet Hospitalized
R&B songstress Tweet has been admitted into the hospital.
While prayers have been circulating the internet, it’s being reported that the 45 year old singer has blood clots in both lungs and her right arm as well.
The news initially broke when her daughter Shenice Johnson took to social media, followed by her boyfriend’s confirmation, popular preacher Jamal Bryant; who made a post on Instagram asking for prayers.
“ALERT!!! I need your prayers for @tweet_ She’s been admitted in hospital for blood clots in both lungs & right arm!,” says Bryant. “Doctors can’t trace it but God is a healer! Prayer still works…”
Blood clots, specifically DVT blood clots, can be fatal if left untreated. Should a piece of a DVT (Deep Vein Thrombosis) clot break off from a location in your body (typically one’s legs), it can travel through the blood stream and become lodged in the lungs, causing a Pulmonary Embolism, which can lead to death.
As of now no additional information has been released, but our prayers are with the southern hummingbird at this time.

We’re happy to announce that Tweet has updated us on her condition. On Monday (Sept. 4th.) the singer took to her instagram to update her fans, and thank them for their love, concern, and prayers.
“MIRACLES STILL HAPPEN!!!!!! Just wanted to say thank you all for your love, concern, flowers, cards and most of all your prayers. I am doing well and going home soon. I was down but never count GOD out!!! TO GOD BE THE GLORY!!! ??????”
