Tommy Ford of ‘Martin’ Dead at 52

It is with sadness we report the passing of actor Tommy M. Ford, who played ‘Tommy’ on the 90’s hit show Martin.

Tommy passed away Wednesday October 12th in Metro Atlanta hospital surrounded by family and friends.

As previous reports stated, Ford had been on life support after an aneurysm ruptured in his abdomen. He was hospitalized on Sunday, and his health had continued to decline. Today family made the decision to turn off the support TMZ reports.

Ford was best known for his role as Thomas “Tommy” Strawn, one of Martin’s best friends all five seasons of Fox’s hit sitcom Martin, which aired from 1992 to 1997.  After Martin ended, Ford played Lieutenant Malcom Baker on the Fox drama New York Undercover during the series’ fourth and final season in 1998.
