What’s up! What’s up! What’s up! The cast of the 90’s hit TV show Martin has finally reunited. Â But it’s not for the reason that fans have hoped for. Â Recently we’ve reported the passing of the shows co-star Tommy Ford. Â Ford who portrayed “Tommy Strawn” one of Martin’s best friends on the show all five seasons that aired from 1992-1997. Tommy passed on October 12th in Metro Atlanta hospital surrounded by family and friends from a ruptured aneurysm.
Well the gang reunited to pay respect and say final goodbyes at Ford’s funeral. Co-stars Tichina Arnold and Carl Payne posted photos of the group attached with heartfelt messages. Although Martin Lawrence himself isn’t pictured, he was present at the services, Arnold confirmed. I guess he and Carl Payne (Cole) may still have some unresolved beef.
Lawrence talked with Entertainment Weekly about his relationship with Tommy Ford saying,”Tommy was not only a great costar, but he was a great mand and friend. He always brought with him his spirituality, a positive attitude and so much joy. I am sad the world lost a great talent and that I lost a wonderful friend. God bless him and his family.”
