Jidenna is ready to get the ball rolling on his long-awaited debut album. The “Classic Man“ pays a visit to his childhood for the projects newly single “Bambi.”
Named after the children’s film he sings about his love marrying someone else.
“I got the wedding invitation,” he sings. “I’m happy that he wants to make a family / But I can’t promise that I won’t run up in that church screaming your name, Bambi.”
The track follows previous songs “The Let Out,” “Little Bit More,” and “Knickers.” The Chief is due for a Feb. 17th release.
